We are visiting Montecito and ordered 2 pizzas to take back to our rental. One of them was gluten free. Both were the Capricciosa. Both were excellent. Good sauce, good fresh toppings and we both enjoyed the crust we had. As a passionate veteran of years and years of cooking and serving real Italian food I am very happy to see there are still some people in the business who care about doing Italian food right. These people get it right.
This establishment serves the best Italian food we've ever had. The ambiance was lively and the table we reserved was ready for us as soon as we arrived, which was ten minutes early. However, I'm not sure if the house was understaffed, but it was apparent that the waiters/waitresses were feeling rushed, and that transferred over to us. The first thing we were told as soon as we sat down was that the kitchen would be closing in 30 minutes, which was definitely not something we wanted to hear considering we had given the staff advanced notice that this would be our anniversary dinner. Strangely enough, it felt like the busboys were providing better service than our waitress by making us feel welcomed and at ease long after the kitchen had closed, clearing the table and topping off our water frequently, and they were the ones to offer us the option of dessert near the end of the night, which our waitress then brought over along with the check. The food is absolutely exquisite, but I would not recommend this place if you'd like to receive that extra touch of service for a special occasion.
This is officially my and my Partner's favorite restaurant in the Santa Barbara / Montecito area, and we don't even live locally as we drive all the way from LA county! Had our lunch here with my 6 other great friends because I wanted to share with them this great gem, all coming from LA and had a blast! At first, I was having difficulty with booking because two of my couple friends brought their fur babies with them. Shout out to Sophia for handling the situation and placed us in the patio area and everyone was happy including the fur babies! She's the best! Our servers Fidencio ( officially our favorite!) and Fernando are always very on point and very knowledgeable about everything in the menu and we loved their recommendations! Food was as always great and everyone was happy with their meals! Ambience is always great on a Sunny California Sunday! Parking is street parking and we had no problem with it.
Tre lune is a wonderful restaurant in Montecito. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. They can help recommend any dish and it will be spectacular! The food is fresh and delicious There is parking on the street. Reservations are a good idea. The atmosphere is very nice inside.
I love this place. The food is amazing, the pasta is cooked Al dente, the service is great, and everything about this place is so nice. The mushroom rigatoni and Caesar salad are fantastic along with the burrata caprese salad!
